Seven For All Mankind Steps Into Fall...Literally

Your favorite A-List Seven denims will now come ala Supermodel. Carolyn Murphy spices it up for the new fall campaign ads. The campaign imagery is said to mirror powerful sophistication and will debut for Autumn-Fall 2007-08. But hold on kiddies.....luxe footwear and accessories will also be on tap. Sounds delectable to me. VS gives this one 2 thumbs way up!

We saw this one coming.......LV offers a sexy cover for IPHONE

Ok, boys and girls, VS says you could smell this one a mile away! Louis Vuitton offers a sexy cover for the (yawn) IPhone. Ok, will someone email me when a slick haute couture designed cover for the Sidekick comes out. Louis Vuitton, not to be outdone by all the rave, offers a sleekly designed case for the Apple IPhone.

Where to get it: Starting on July 16th and exclusively carried on Louis Vuitton's flagship 5th Avenue store in Manhattan (of course). The cases will come in an array of colors and materials and range from $225 for the Monogram canvas and $1,120 for the alligator case.

A nationwide launch will follow in October - oh gee thanks.

VS like to be stylish and pulling out that oh dare I say it......OK - $22 T-Mobile Sidekick cover horrifies me so! Ok competitors that's for you! Gucci anyone....

The Gap appoints Patrick Robinson to EVP of Design

Patrick Robinson, a graduate of Parsons School of Design has been appointed Executive Vice President of Gap Inc. Patrick brings his broad range of fashion design experience from high-end couture to mass market retail. Prior to his tenure at Paco Rabone in Paris, Robinson held senior design leadership at Anne Klein and Perry Ellis.

Kudos to Patrick, although he went to the rival school of Virtual Stylist. That school being the Fashion Institute of Technology....ok, I'm over it.

Roberto Cavalli is coming to H & M...YES!

Ok, maybe you won't look like a million bucks, but hey Cheap & Chic worked for Moschino. On the stiletto heel's of Mr. Mizrahi for Target, Roberto Cavalli will design a one-off mens and womens collection to be sold in 200 H&M stores, shipping November 8, 2007. (Big Sigh), Unfortunately if you live in a Southern City as Virtual Stylist does, you will have to get your travel on to New York City's hellacious 34th street store. VS prefers the SoHo flagship store to the touristy nightmare of Herald Square - yipes! Hey I LOVE NY, but gimme SoHo shopping any day over the tourist spots.
Check out H & M here: http://www.hm.com/
In my opinion they are the best of the best when it comes to fast, cheap and trendy clothing. - Rock On!

That's Mr. Ford To Us Mere Mortals..........

Tom Ford opens to mix reviews....Tom Ford's store launch in New York received mixed reviews when it opened earlier this month. The slick concept boutique launched by the former Gucci designer received lackluster reviews in the New York Press - those brutal bastards! But c'mon, when the cheapest thing on sale is a pair of $75 woven socks, NY we have a problem! A pair of pajamas is $1,900 and gowns start at $3,900 - yes, I said start at.
Mr. Ford admitted to being hurt by all of the criticism of the flagship store,'We are running a business that's not for everyone, and I'm not trying to be an asshole, but some people can't afford it,'he said magnanimously, 'and maybe there is a sort of resentment for about that.

Fashionably Loud!

Virtual Stylist brings clarity to the do's and dont's of fashion drama. And yes, I appointed myself the "CEO OF STYLE". Sit back and watch VS strut. I will bring you all of the extra tidbits that go along with being a so-called fashionista including the latest psychotic cravings, the pitfalls of living above your coins when shopping as well as "where-to-get-it" links. Oh no, this won't be your same old lame fashion blog, you will be addicted - I promise.

And oh yes, there will be plenty of comedy and celebrity nonsense.......ENJOY!
