2009 Top 10 Most Wearable Fall Fashions

This time last year VS was totally bored with what some was packaging and calling fashion (ew, harem pants - give me a break). But this season things are slightly looking up and we are excited about fashion again instead of yawning at shows at Bryant Park or going to market trying not to puke at all of the madness. Hey, we are still partial to shows being at 7th on 6th - and if you are clueless to what that means, you have no business reading this blog! Ok, we're fashion snobs...so suit us, well not really.

At any rate, take a sneak peak at our Fall 2009 top 10 picks (in no particular order) compiled by our friends at Glamour.com. Remember as you start to shop for your fall wardrobe that some of your spring/summer goodies can segue right into your fall lineup. Remember to have some fun, be you and stay fab!

10. Red And Pink
We've seen this before, totally 80's - we likey!
Mini Combo from Jason Wu

9. Neon Pink
Another 80's nod...Look for a lot of strapless mini's this season
God knows we love Pink and an excuse to wear it in the fall....we're so in!

8. Embellished Booties
Um, once again - the 80's creeps back in again, more couture, less oh-no-she-didn't

7. THE LBD - Little Black Dress With Edge
If you don't own one yet, now's the time...oh so sexy

6. Military Padded Jackets (ok 80's shoulder pads)
Makes us gasp...but hey, we've gasped at a lot of no-no's that snuck past us
Philip Lim: Check it

5. Mini's & Ruffles (yep, repeat.)
But not a bad look for fall with tights and a hot bootie
Designer shown: Milly

4. Monotone Looks
Remember how faux-pas it was to match from head to toe?
Well not according to our fashion team experts...careful here
Key word: Monotone colors only

3. One-Shoulder Dresses and Tops
We're sure this makes Mariah Carey so happy and yes we've seen this one before too.
Check out one of our fave rocker chic designer's: Charlotte Ronson

2. Peplum Jackets

Fancy cropped jackets with a skirted look; look for tops with this style as well

We love it! Finally a mod 60's look we adore

1. Accordian Pleat Tops

Haut Home: Giorgio Armani to design luxury Rome Apartments

MILAN (Reuters Life!) - Italian designer Giorgio Armani's home division is to deck out the interior of exclusive apartments in Rome, as part of a project to convert a historical building into a complex of luxury serviced flats.
Some 62 apartments are planned in the Cavour220 project -- a residential block occupying 12,000 sq m (129,200 sq ft) and composed of six linked buildings surrounding a garden.
"The scheme was conceived from the desire to transform the ancient buildings of a quarter on the slopes of the Palatine Hill into a prestigious, sophisticated, cutting-edge residential complex," Armani said in a statement.
The complex is located on Via Cavour, that leads to the Coliseum. The project also involves Doughty Hanson & Co European Real Estate Fund II and property developer Europa Risorse. The first apartments will be ready for occupation in the first half of 2010
